EVP 101

Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) is one of the most intriguing—and misunderstood—areas in paranormal research. This course is built for beginners who want to learn the right way from day one. It cuts through the noise, removes the theatrics, and teaches EVP as it was meant to be studied: with discipline, patience, and respect for those who shaped the field before us.

Students will learn the history and pioneers of EVP, the essential equipment, proper recorder operation, environmental awareness, baseline establishment, controlled recording methods, and field techniques. You’ll also be introduced to the three primary recording approaches:

Question & Answer Sessions, Stationary Recording, and the properly taught Walking Method (which NEVER involves walking with the recorder in your hand).

This course teaches not just the “how,” but the “why.” It lays the foundation for future EVP work with a traditional mindset, strengthened by modern technique.
