EVP 102 takes students beyond the act of recording and into the heart of what separates casual hobbyists from disciplined researchers: interpretation, comparative listening, frequency awareness, controlled review, and the ability to distinguish environmental sound from true anomalous communication. This course teaches students how to think like an EVP specialist—analytical, patient, grounded, and focused on evidence rather than expectation.
While EVP 101 taught how to record properly, EVP 102 teaches how to understand what you recorded. Students learn how to perform structured reviews, identify audio contamination, compare baseline audio to potential anomalies, recognize frequency and tone differences, and avoid common pitfalls such as suggestion, pareidolia, and emotional bias. The course emphasizes responsible interpretation, honest representation, and the discipline required to strengthen the integrity of every EVP session.
Students will leave this course with advanced confidence in listening, reviewing, documenting, and presenting EVP data the right way.
